UCT Gives Back…AGAIN to two winning schools!

EldonCongratulations to Eldon High School’s Mustang Cookie Company Life Skills Program – the $10,000 UCT Gives Back…Again video contest award 1st place winner! In second place with only three days left of the competition, Eldon High School students and teachers and the entire Eldon, Missouri, community came together to pull ahead and take home the grand prize! UCT representatives recently traveled to Eldon to present the school with its BIG check, which will be used to purchase needed appliances for the program.

St. RaphaelAfter Eldon, it was on to Sudbury, Ontario, where UCT presented the $5,000 2nd place check to St. Raphael Catholic Elementary School’s Life Skills Program. The Sudbury community, including members of UCT’S local Sudbury council, joined the school in snaring and holding first place up until the very end of the friendly competition. UCT’s Council 1051 made the day of the presentation especially memorable by donating an additional $2,500 to the school’s program! That’s what giving back is all about!

A heartfelt thanks to all the schools that submitted videos and to our finalists and winners – your programs are all so deserving and make such a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities! Keep up the great work!
