UCT CEO Joe Hoffman presents a check in the amount of $15,000 to Tracy DeVries, director of partnerships for Special Olympics North America, and Robert Rickard, executive director of Special Olympics Ohio. According to DeVries, the money will be used to fund transportation, purchase uniforms, and whatever else Special Olympics athletes most need.

UCT has been a proud sponsor of Special Olympics in the past, with total donations amounting to more than half-a-million dollars. Local councils continue to raise funds and volunteer hundreds of hours to support Special Olympics each year.
