Calgary Council Breaks Record With Charity Golf Tournament
COLUMBUS, October 2010 — One hundred forty golfers turned out to help make Calgary North Council 1015's ninth annual golf tournament to support the Association for the Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured (ARBI) a terrific success! The tournament raised a record $62,000 for the organization.
At least 20 members volunteered for the event and/or participated as golfers. Council 1015 has supported ARBI for more than 20 years and has donated nearly $300,000 to the organization during that time. ARBI relies on help from organizations like UCT to continue to make a difference in the lives of people with brain injuries. Special thanks and congratulations to all volunteers, sponsors and golfers!
