A perfect partnership is formed
Through a consulting firm in Toronto, UCT learned of another fraternal benefit society, the Associated Canadian Travellers, whose members were in the process of evaluating their future.
As both A.C.T. and UCT offered many of the same basic opportunities for their respective memberships, and their goals and objectives seemed to parallel, the decision was made to move forward in bringing the two organizations together. At the 27th Biennial Meeting of the Associated Canadian Travellers held June 27-30, 1993, in Ottawa, Ont., the A.C.T. delegation voted to merge with UCT.
