Councils' members support a number of cancer programs in their local communities. Many UCT members participate in the American Cancer Society’s national signature event Relay for Life, a unique fund-raising event that enables participants from all walks of life to join together in the fight against cancer. And, through members' efforts, hospice care facilities are equipped, dressings are prepared and needed equipment is donated.
