Get Involved in Your Community
UCT volunteers devote countless hours and raise millions of dollars that directly benefit the communities in which they live, making a difference through helping others.
Throughout the U.S. and Canada UCT brings like-minded people of all ages together, providing them with opportunities to make a difference through volunteering and community service. By volunteering, you can get involved in some of our key community service projects. Or, because every community is different, you can volunteer or even initiate programs and events that are important to you and the causes you support.
Here are some of the ways you can get involved as a UCT volunteer:
- Join events and programs to help people with intellectual disabilities
- Organize programs and events for people facing cancer
- Work with youth programs and athletic teams
- Volunteer at homeless shelters, food banks and soup kitchens
- Support local park improvement projects
- Coordinate recycling projects
- Assemble care packages for disaster victims
- Provide support and necessary items for veterans
- Spend time with the elderly in nursing homes and hospitals
