UCT's Supreme Officers and Board of Governors UCT's top leadership is elected by delegates from the organization's Grand councils each year at the organization's annual convention. These officers represent a diverse cross section of skills and experience from throughout the United States and Canada. The officers meet periodically at the Home Office in Columbus, Ohio, to work with the organization's Senior Management Team to establish the organization's policies and direction. UCT's Supreme Counselor (International President) for 2010-2011 is Stewart A. Wagner of St. Anne, Ill.Stewart joined UCT in 1968 as a member of Kankakee Council 687. He served through the line of local offices and received his Past Counselor (past local president) honors in 1977. He also served as the local chaplain and spent six years on the council's executive committee. Stewart has served on virtually every committee on the Grand (regional) council level and was Grand Chaplain in 2006 while his wife, Mary, was Grand Counselor for Illinois. In 2001 he received the Jud Lair Award and in 2004 the Member of the Year Award from the Illinois Grand Council. Offices held include: President of the Illinois Grand Counselors' Association, Past Great Ruler of the Arabia Guild of AMOB (Illinois), Great Ruler of the Indra Guild of AMOB (Indiana) and President of the Illinois Fraternal Congress 1996-1997. He received his Past Grand Counselor honors in 1992. On the Supreme level, Stewart has served on the Resolutions Committee, participated in the Supreme Necrology Service (2003), served on the Jurisprudence Committee (2005), served on the State of the Order Committee (chairperson, 2006), and in 2003 was honored by the Roses for the Living Committee. He was a representative to the National Fraternal Congress of America. ![]() |
