Screenings can save lives

Now you have the opportunity to screen for potential strokes, aneurysms and other vascular diseases before they become life-threatening. Life Line screenings are painless, non-invasive, and take less than 10 minutes each. You don't even have to remove your clothing.

UCT members have the opportunity to receive these painless, non-invasive and easy-to-obtain health screenings at a discounted rate. The Stroke, Vascular Disease & Heart Rhythm package is available to U.S. members for only $135. The package includes stroke/carotid artery screening, atrial fibrillation screening (abnormal heart rhythm), peripheral arterial disease (PAD) screening, and abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) screening. An osteoporosis screening can be added for just $10.

If a condition is found that is life-threatening, you will be notified on the day of the screening so that you can consult your physician immediately. Otherwise, your screening will be read by a board-certified physician and your results will be mailed within three weeks.

Payment may be made at the time you schedule your screening. While credit cards are encouraged, check and cash payments are also accepted. Payments made at the screening site on the day of the appointment are subject to a $3 finance charge.

Bernard Lochmann, a member of UCT’s Oklahoma City, Okla. Council 70, is testament to the vital importance of Life Line Screening’s tests.
