Located halfway between Atlanta, Georgia, and Charlotte, North Carolina, Greenville is the epicenter of South Carolina’s Upcountry, located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Boasting great shopping, dining, nightlife, and scenic and family attractions, its nationally-acclaimed downtown features tree-shaded streetscapes, public artwork, lush parks, unique shops, and a 60 foot waterfall.
Many UCT members experienced Greenville during our 2009 UCT convention – and loved it! Now those members and more will have an opportunity to take in all that Greenville and the rolling South Carolina Upcountry have to offer when we head back to the city July 3-6 for our 2017 convention at the Hyatt Regency Greenville.
Hyatt room rates are as follows and are applicable three days prior and three days following the convention, based on availability:
$119 per night – single/double rooms
$129 per night – triple rooms
$139 per night – quadruple rooms
Reservations MUST be made by no later than June 7, 2017, by visiting https://resweb.passkey.com/go/UnitedCommercialTravelers617 or calling 402.592.6434. Be sure to tell them you’re with UCT.
Not just any Main Street
Downtown Greenville’s Main Street is literally right outside the Hyatt Regency’s back door. It’s one of the beauties of the city – you don’t have to go very far to satisfy your appetite for exploration and discovery. The downtown area is packed full of things you’ve never seen, places you’ve never been, foods you’ve never tried, experiences you’ve never had and friendly people who can’t wait to share it all with you.
Alive with the sights, smells and sounds of a vibrant city, yet as friendly and comfortable as a small town, this isn’t just any main street – the National Trust for Historic Preservation has awarded Greenville with the Great American Main Street Award.
Whether it’s shopping, dining, night life, or special attractions, downtown Greenville delivers. And don’t forget to check out the Mice on Main! We hope to see y’all there!
