…fraternal benefit societies. Ok, so we’re a little biased since UCT is a fraternal benefit society, but we are thankful that there are organizations whose insurance operations don’t pay dividends to shareholders, but instead fund community service projects in local communities across the U.S. and Canada! As if that weren’t enough, fraternal members plan, direct and run those community service events to support charities near and dear to their hearts. What a business model!
