If you’ve been a part of UCT for any amount of time, you know Ann Marshall. Everyone here at the home office knows that Ann is a lifeline to our members. Even when they should be calling another area, they end up on the phone with Ann.
Ann is retiring this month, and we couldn’t let her leave without giving her the opportunity to say goodbye to all of you, our members.
“After 17 years I am saying a fond farewell to the Fraternal Department at UCT. That does not, however, mean I am saying goodbye to UCT. I will still be an annoying presence on Facebook and will try to be as active in my local council as possible. I have met some amazing people during my tenure with UCT and will miss everyone.
I want to thank everyone for your support throughout the years, all the good wishes that have come my way and the beautiful charm bracelets with all the lovely reminders of my friends. To quote one of my favorite authors, from one of my favorite books from my youth: “Don’t be dismayed at good-byes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends.” – Richard Bach, “Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah”
Ann’s last day here at UCT is Friday, February 24. If you want to wish Ann well you can email her at firstname.lastname@example.org or call her one last time at 800.848.0123 x1126.
