We’re less than one month out from the UCT Convention! Sandy Shafer, Vice President of Fraternal, wanted to share some insight into this year’s event and what you can expect….
“In just a few weeks, many of our loyal UCT members will head to Greenville, South Carolina for the 130th UCT Convention. Greenville is one of the most picturesque locations in the United States and our members are excited to return to the Hyatt Regency Greenville for the event.
For the past several years we have been adding more educational opportunities for our members and this year is no exception. Our keynote speaker this year is Warren Barhorst and his presentation will be “Leverage: How To Do More With Less.” We also have Julie Vreeland presenting a session on “The Right Stuff: Recruiting and Retaining the “Right” Members”.
Community Outreach Manager Keith Ward will give a presentation on The UCT Story. This is a topic of interest that was brought up several times by our members during the 2016 Convention. On behalf of all UCT members who made donations to our community service project – Meyer Center for Special Children, Judy Woodworth and Dianna Loafman will be making the presentation to representatives from the Meyer Center.
To commemorate our 130th anniversary, Kate Chillinsky, UCT’s Marketing Manager will be kicking off the “130 Challenge.”
The home office staff is working hard to make sure everything is in place for the convention. We look forward to seeing all of you there!”
In the next couple of weeks, we’ll have more updates on those presentations and the presenters mentioned above, so stay tuned!
