"Making A Difference Together"

The Ann Marshall Scholarship Program needs your support.

We’re getting set to distribute the first scholarships this spring from the newly established Ann Marshall Scholarship Program, and we could use your help. The program, like the May E. Tisdale Scholarship Fund before it, is supported entirely through donations, and the number and amount of scholarships given each year may vary according to contributions received. Whatever donation you and/or your council can give to the program will be very much appreciated!

This program provides possible scholarship assistance to UCT members and the children of grandchildren of UCT members pursuing college and/or technical school educations. Applicants must meet specific guidelines to be eligible and applications are due May 1 with awards announced by July 2021.

Ann Marshall was UCT’s fraternal/scholarship coordinator for 17 years and retired in 2017. Sadly, she passed away in 2017. Ann was the primary touchstone for members needing assistance as well as being responsible for coordinating UCT special projects. Helping students attain their dreams of a college education through administering UCT’s scholarship programs was one of the things she loved best about her job. For this reason – and the fact that Ann was and is still so loved by many UCT members – the scholarship program was named after her in tribute.

Local and regional councils and individual members wishing to contribute to the Ann Marshall Scholarship Program may do so by sending a check made payable to UCT to: UCT, Attention: Anita Neal, 1801 Watermark Drive, Suite 100, Columbus, OH 43215. Make sure to include a note specifying that the donation is for the Ann Marshall Scholarship Program.

UCT local councils working toward the Medal of Honor Program may earn a point for contributing at least $250 to this scholarship program.

The scholarship guidelines and application are available on UCT’s website under About Us/Scholarships or by contacting Anita Neal at 800.848.0123 x1100 or at aneal@uct.org.
