There’s simply no better place to get up close and personal with horses, thanks to Lexington’s abundance of farms and by extension, horse farm tours. Each tour is different, with some being working farms, others medical centers to teach you how horses are cared for, and some even allow you to meet racing legends of past and present.

There are about 450 horse farms in the Bluegrass region—150 in Fayette County alone—each with something unique to offer. Plan a horse farm experience that fits your style!
