UCT’s website recently underwent a facelift and in the process opened up a whole new world for our local councils – they now have individual websites! Besides checking out how cool these rockin’ new websites are, here are 5 reasons you should visit UCT’s local council websites:
1) Get the Inside Scoop – See what UCT’s local councils are all about. From charities and community causes they support to photos of recent events, everything is accessible online!
2) Discover Who’s Who – Our local council officers page gives an inside look at the people who lead us in the charge to serve our communities and run charitable events. Who knows, maybe you already know a UCT member and don’t even realize it!
3) Volunteer Like You Mean It – Check out the local events calendar to see what volunteer opportunities are coming up in your community.
4) Discover the Reach of UCT – If you thought UCT was a small organization in the Midwest, think again! Visit our main website events calendar where ALL the local council events are listed to see how far our reach really goes – from the Florida panhandle to the Canadian Rockies and beyond!
5) Get Involved – Finally ready to take the plunge and join UCT? Look for a council near you (or contact us at fraternal@uct.org if there isn’t one nearby) and reach out to the contact person. You could be changing lives with a simple call or email!
